NOTICE: Special General Meeting



Dear Members,

Notice is hereby given to all members of Hawkesbury City Little Athletics Centre Incorporated (“the Centre”) of a Special General Meeting to determine Special Resolutions in relation to affiliation with Athletics NSW, a change of name to the Centre, and adoption of an amended Constitution reflecting these changes.

Special Resolutions

The Committee hereby advises members that the following Special Resolutions will be put forward at the Special General Meeting:


  1. That Hawkesbury City Little Athletics Centre affiliates jointly with Little Athletics New South Wales and Athletics New South Wales from this point forward.

  2. That Hawkesbury City Little Athletics Centre change its name to Hawkesbury City Athletics Centre.

  3. That Hawkesbury City Little Athletics Centre endorse the proposed Constitution to allow for these changes.


Procedural Matters

  • To be passed, the Special Resolutions must receive votes in favour from not less than 75% of those members who being eligible to do so vote in person on the Special Resolutions at the meeting.

  • The Special Resolutions should be read in conjunction with the frequently asked questions document.

  • The amendments to the Constitution are clearly highlighted in the attached version of the proposed Constitution.

  • The committee recommends that members vote in favour of all three Special Resolutions.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Special General Meeting will involve voting on the three Special Resolutions through the voting polls. The polling feature only allows for one vote to be cast per registered attendee per voting round.  Thus, if there are two eligible voting members in your household that both wish to vote at the Special General Meeting on the three Special Resolutions, you will need to please register separately and login to the Meeting on separate devices/screens.
